"Using kozo and mitsumata fiber washi paper made at a traditional paper making factory in Shikoku, Japan. Shifting effects of opacity and transparency, precision and expression are achieved through the layering of different paints and fiber textures. Guerrero uses this delicate balance between chance and intention to express our perception of transient elemental phenomena, such as fog, smoke or the feeling of being submerged in water."
